These venues are, namely, our original main venue – the Boma – and our colonial homestead – the Orchid House. Each situated a good distance away from the other, which allows each venue to be picturesquely admired in its own right.

The Boma

Complete with a bridal salon, chapel, full reception facilities, picturesque gardens, a water feature and extensive parking, the Boma is a fully versatile venue catering for both wedding and corporate events.

While corporate take over the beautiful venue during the weekdays, the facility lends itself to team building, as well as productions to be held there. On weekends, the venue transforms into a wedding paradise.

The Boma can seat up to 400 guests, with 120 guests inside the elegant chapel. The open architecture of the building accommodates for the other guests around the outside. Even in situations where the weather turns drastic, there are blinds that can easily be rolled down to create a comfortable and cozy affair. The chapel is set amongst seemingly endless space, secluded and romantic.

The elegant venue also houses a dance floor and stage area, where guests are welcome to let their hair down and dance the night away. Set in the majestic gardens, the venue transforms into a fairytale land filled with sparkling lights, which delicately decorate the trees and bridge.

The Orchid House

The charming colonial building houses its own bridal salon, chapel, reception facilities, scenic gardens and extensive parking to host smaller and more intimate affairs.

Seating a total of 140 guests, 60 guests can be seated inside the chapel with the others nearby in the chapel wing. The Orchid House chapel also offers blinds easily rolled down in the case of a weather faux pas. With a 92-year old open plan building, any wedding ceremony will have a distinctive garden feel. You also have the choice of hosting your ceremony in the gardens for a more nature-centered ceremony.

Equipped with dance floor, the venue is perfect for fun and homely weddings or functions. Even the kiddies can enjoy the more playful venue, with a kids play gym to keep the busy bodies happy and entertained.

Along with weddings and functions, the Orchid House also hosts High Teas for a pleasurable experience. There is a B&B situated in the main house of the venue, to accommodate the bridal party or any guests that wish to stay overnight. The venue overlooks scenic gardens, which transform into a forest fairy light wonderland by night – this creates the most beautiful picturesque wedding escape with an intimate and cozy feel.
