Collisheen Estate “Win-A-Wedding”

Terms & Conditions

THE ORGANISER

  1. The competition is organised by COLLISHEEN ESTATE, located at X1 ESENEMBI ROAD, COMPENSATION, UMHLALI, KZN, 4390

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Employees of Collisheen Estate and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  2. Participants must be engaged and planning to get married.
  3. Participants must be legal residents of South Africa and residing in South Africa.
  4. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

ENTRY PERIOD

  1. The competition starts on 1st August 2026 at 08h00 and ends on 28th August 2026 at 15h00.
  2. Entries submitted outside this timeframe will not be considered.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Entrants must LIKE and FOLLOW Collisheen estate on INSTAGRAM & FACEBOOK.
  2. By entering, the entrant gives consent to Collisheen estate to post their photo on Social Media platforms.
  3. Entries must include full names of the Bride-to-be and Groom-to-be, their cell phone numbers and email addresses and a preferred wedding date.
  4. Only an OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM, available from the COLLISHEEN ESTATE office, completed and submitted at the COLLISHEEN ESTATE office is valid.
  5. Entrants must book a specific date and pay a deposit for their date and sign the contract, as per a normal booking at COLLISHEEN ESTATE.
  6. Entrants must have a desire to get married at COLLISHEEN ESTATE. 

THE PRIZE

The prize includes; 

  1. VENUE HIRE for up to 300 people at THE BOMA [Minimum of 100 people] OR up to 120 people at ORCHID HOUSE. Venue hire inclusions as per the “WIN-A-WEDDING” package.
  2. CATERING for up to 300 people at THE BOMA [Minimum of 100 people] OR up to 120 people at ORCHID HOUSE. Menus to be chosen off the “WIN-A-WEDDING” Package.
  3. DRAPING & LIGHTING SPECIAL, as per the “WIN-A-WEDDING” package
    BAR TAB of R10 000 [Ten Thousand Rand].
  4. The prize only includes the above and does not include other wedding services such as Decor, DJ, photography, video, cake etc.
  5. The prize is not negotiable.
  6. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  7. The prize can only be redeemed on available dates.
  8. The prize is only valid for wedding entries and the required wedding bookings between 1st August 2026 and 28th August 2026.
  9. The prize is only valid for wedding dates after 28th August 2026 and before 31st December 2027.
  10. Only 1 [One] Wedding will be given away.
  11. Additional guests, catering and services will be charged at the standard rates as per the year of the wedding.
  12. If the wedding is cancelled for whatsoever reason, it will be at Collisheen’s discretion to transfer the prize or cancel the competition.
  13. Entries are not limited to the geographic residence of Couples and all travel costs associated with the competition, the wedding prize, guests etc, will not be included in the prize and will remain the responsibility of the couple or guests.

WINNER SELECTION

  1. The winning Couple will be determined by a public draw after the Collisheen Open Day.
  2. The Draw will be held on Sunday, 30th August 2026 at The Boma Venue, Collisheen Estate, at 15h30.
  3. The Couple, or a representative MUST be present at the Draw to be eligible to win the prize.
  4. Winners must be prepared to be photographed, and such photographs could possibly be used in future marketing material, including Social Media posts.
  5. Only 1 [One] Draw will be done.

NOTIFICATION

  1. If the winners are not present at the Draw, their representatives will receive the prize and the winners will be notified via WhatsApp and Email, immediately after the Draw.

GENERAL

  1. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and to the use of their names and likeness for promotional purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  2. The winners will be required to sign the normal wedding contract.
  3. The venue reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if any problem prevents the competition from running as planned.
  4. The winning couple cannot change their wedding date, nor can they alter their menu choices or considerably increase their guest numbers from the original selections specified in the normal wedding contract signed upon entry. 
  5. The venue is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or for any technical malfunctions.
