What to Expect
On 30 August, The Boma and The Orchid House open together for the only day of the year: you can experience both venues, meet our trusted suppliers face to face, and taste, see and feel what a wedding at Collisheen Estate is really like.
Wander at your own pace, sit down with the vendors who matter most to you, and enjoy a spread of food and drink built to give you a true taste of your big day.

Space is limited at each session, so we ask every guest to RSVP to one time slot. Choose the one that suits you best; all three give you full access to both venues and every vendor on-site.
Slot 1: 10:00am – 12:00pm
The Morning Slot
Start your day the way any good wedding does: with breakfast. Join us for breakfast canapés as you explore The Boma and The Orchid House at their quietest and most beautiful. Ideal for early risers and working couples who want a relaxed, unhurried first look.
Slot 2: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
The Lunch Slot
Arrive to our harvest table at its full, glorious display. The lunch slot is our most popular for families, with a relaxed midday pace and the best spread of the day on show.
Slot 3: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
The Afternoon Slot
Save the best for last. Join us in the afternoon and you will be here for the moment we announce the winner of Win a Wedding, live, at 2:30pm.
This is our highest-demand slot of the day, so RSVP early to secure your place.
Win a Wedding
This August, we are giving one couple their dream day at Collisheen Estate. Every couple who books and pays for their wedding venue at Collisheen Estate during August 2026 is automatically entered to win a prize package worth thousands: venue hire at The Boma or The Orchid House, your choice of six exquisite menus, full draping and lighting, a R10,000 bar tab, and every inclusion needed for a complete wedding day.
The winner is announced live at our Open Day on 30 August at 2:30pm, so if you have booked, make sure you are there to find out.

The Venues
The Boma
Our largest space, The Boma is a 400 square metre open-sided venue set within sprawling gardens, comfortably hosting up to 400 guests with room for a dance floor and stage. By night, the trees and bridge come alive with fairy lights, with a private chapel and water feature adding to the magic.
The Orchid House
A 150 square metre open-sided venue overlooking a garden full of fairy-light wonder, Orchid House suits a more intimate wedding or function, seating up to 120 guests with room for a dance floor.
