What to Expect
On 30 August, The Boma and The Orchid House open together for the only day of the year: you can experience both venues, meet trusted suppliers face to face, to see and feel what a wedding at Collisheen Estate is really like.

Slot 1: 10:00am – 12:00pm
The Morning Slot
Start your day the way any good wedding does. Join us as you explore The Boma and The Orchid House at their quietest and most beautiful. Ideal for early risers and working couples who want a relaxed, unhurried first look.
Slot 2: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
The Lunch Slot
Arrive to our estate at its full, glorious display. The lunch slot is our most popular for families, with a relaxed midday pace and the best spread of the day on show.
Slot 3: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
The Afternoon Slot
Save the best for last. Join us in the afternoon for the final stretch of the day at Collisheen, when the energy is at its highest and the estate is showing off its best light.
This is our highest-demand slot of the day, so RSVP early to secure your place.
Space is limited at each session, so we ask every guest to RSVP to one time slot. Choose the one that suits you best; all three give you full access to both venues and every vendor on-site.
Win a Wedding
This August, we are giving one couple their dream day at Collisheen Estate. Book and secure your wedding date at Collisheen Estate between 1 and 28 August 2026 and you could win a prize package worth thousands: venue hire at The Boma or The Orchid House, your choice of menu from the Win a Wedding package, full draping and lighting and a R10,000 bar tab.
Entering takes a few quick steps. Like and follow Collisheen Estate on Instagram and Facebook, complete the official entry form at our office and secure your date with a deposit and signed contract within the stated period.
The winner is drawn live at our Open Day on 30 August at 3:30pm. The winning couple, or a representative, must be present at the draw to claim the prize, so if you have booked make sure you are there.

The Venues
The Boma
Our largest space, The Boma is a 400 square metre open-sided venue set within sprawling gardens, comfortably hosting up to 400 guests with room for a dance floor and stage. By night, the trees and bridge come alive with fairy lights, with a private chapel and water feature adding to the magic.
The Orchid House
A 150 square metre open-sided venue overlooking a garden full of fairy-light wonder, Orchid House suits a more intimate wedding or function, seating up to 120 guests with room for a dance floor.
